Today I’m going to share some of my top tips with you. I’m sharing one of the research techniques I use to help my clients find their ideal long term rental in Spain.

long term rental in Spain

As I mentioned in my post How to Find Your Ideal Location,  you firstly need to choose your ideal location based on factors such as:

  • Seasonal variations
  • Accessibility and available infrastructure
  • Education
  • Budget

Once you have your ideal location and a smaller search area, you can look at the cost and availability of your ideal long term rental property.

Have a look at portals such as www.kyero.com, www.thinkspain.com, www.pisos.com, www.fotocasa.com, www.tucasa.com.  This will give you an idea of the type of property you can expect to rent within your budget in each of the areas.

Be warned that many of the properties you see advertised will not be available for rent, they are used to encourage you to contact the agencies. This is where the use of my Relocation Services will save you a lot of time.

In the following example, I am starting to search in the Cerrado de Calderon area of Malaga Capital for a client who wants this specific location as his children will be attending St George’s.

In this initial video, we have not set a budget as we are looking at what we can expect to find in that area …

So, there you have the start of the research process for finding your ideal long term rental in Spain.

The initial research process can appear like a minefield, like searching for a needle in a haystack. You will find yourself running around in circles and coming up against brick walls from time to time.

With my help, it will be a lot more enjoyable and a lot less time-consuming.
