Your Spanish property purchase and/or move to Spain would not be the same without us. Don’t take our word for it, read what people say  …

“Having experienced the services provided by Lisa I can thoroughly recommend her. You might be surprised to find not all estate agents are there to help you. They tend to promote the properties that they want to sell rather than the one you wish to buy. However Lisa will converse with all the estate agents and will view the properties with you. Therefore will quickly pick-up on your requirements which saves time and money. Also she provides an abundance of information about the area from schools to restaurants plus everything else.  The help continues after your purchase with recommendations of builders and furniture shops e.t.c. With good contacts (i.e. lawyers, currency dealers) and all are reliable and trustworthy. I was very fortunate to find Lisa and can’t imagine going through the whole experience of buying in Spain without her. I hate to say it ‘ she’s GREAT’.”

During 2016 my wife and I decided to go to Costa Del Sol to look for a holiday home. After reading about the different areas and having looked online for lots of different types of holiday homes, I came across Lisa’s web page. Me and my wife both felt compelled to talk with Lisa, as she on her page highlighted her focus on not finding the perfect villa but most importantly the right area for us as a family.

We, therefore, contacted Lisa and had a good talk via Skype, so that she could have a good impression of us as a family. She seemed very kind, focused on our wishes and not least very trustworthy.

After meeting Lisa for the first time in Mijas, during the fall 2016, she very much confirmed our good impression of her based on the talk via Skype. One of the things we appreciated much about her guidance was her good knowledge about the local areas. Living in Denmark makes it hard to get an in-depth knowledge of the story, local culture, shops, restaurants, schools, attractions etc in the near area.

After having viewed the last of several villas during our visit, which we fell in love with, we talked with Lisa about the rental potential and decided to buy the villa.

When we first visited our new holiday home during Easter, Lisa came by for a viewing to see all the upgrades we have done on the villa.

We can only give our warmest recommendations to use Lisa as your independent adviser if you’re considering to purchase your own holiday villa or moving to the lovely Costa Del Sol.

“We used Lisa and her company to assist us in finding our perfect Spanish holiday home. Lisa has a dedicated passion to make sure that we found our ideal apartment in a short space of time and we have no hesitation in recommending Lisa to anyone looking to purchase a property in Spain. Highly professional and attentive throughout the whole process”

“Our move to the Costa del Sol this year from Australia for our retirement was made so easy with Lisa’s expert help. Obviously, we were unable to “nip over” from Australia for a weekend to view properties and the area so Lisa’s assistance and knowledge were invaluable.

Always friendly and giving sound advice, our journey, along with our 2 cats, was virtually stress-free. We can highly recommend Lisa’s services.”

“Louise’s support was absolutely invaluable when my husband and I recently relocated to Spain. As we were pretty unfamiliar with the area, she gave us lots of suggestions of the best areas to live in Malaga province that fit our requirements (and she really listened to what our “must haves” were) and used her extensive network of contacts to set up our viewings. She organised a full day of scheduled viewings for us, so it couldn’t have been easier for us to drive to each meeting place to meet the agent/owner of each property. On the viewing day itself, Louise was close to hand to liaise with the agents on our behalf to clarify any issues, rearrange late appointments etc which took a lot of stress out of the situation. When we decided on our property, I called Louise and within 10 minutes she had contacted the agent for us and made and agreed the offer – such efficiency was invaluable in a competitive rental market. We are now about to move into the house of our dreams in Malaga and I can honestly say that it would not have been possible without Louise’s expertise and support – not to mention patience and good humour! I wholeheartedly recommend her services.”

We initially dealt with Lisa Sadleir who was great and provided lots of useful information and informed us of her book which we read and found very useful.

Sabine of Move to Malaga then became our point of contact and was hugely important in assisting my family and I with our Padron and residency application. Sabine was always helpful and contactable and made the process as smooth as possible. Sabine provided recommendations for translation and insurance services and we were highly satisfied with these services.

Overall a great experience and highly recommend Move to Malaga and Sabine’s services.

“It has been more than a year since we first came to Spain from the UK and 6 months since we moved up to the Costa Blanca from the Malaga area.  Still, as we meet new friends here and listen to their tales of woe regarding Spanish bureaucracy, we realise how lucky we were to have Lisa helping us through every step of our first few months here.  Where to start?  … Lisa, we count our blessings that we came across your website while researching the details involved with a move to Spain.  It’s a huge step and not for the feint of heart but, quite simply, we could not have done it without you and you will always have our grateful thanks and friendship.”

“It took a year and a half of planning, but recently my wife Dianne and I, and two dogs, moved to the Costa del Sol from Canada. We were fortunate enough to meet Louise early on in the planning phase, and her guidance has been invaluable.  We could not have done it without her.

We had numerous Skype sessions where she answered all our questions, and got back to us immediately on the ones she couldn’t answer. She guided us on getting our NIEs, informed us about the requirements for gaining Spanish residency, the padron, driving licenses, and so many more questions.  Further on in the process we seemed to have additional questions every day and we knew we could always count on Louise to provide an answer.  Her patience was monumental.

Louise set up an interactive spread sheet with us so we could look at available rental properties, and gave us her opinion.  She got to know us and could recommend the areas we would be most interested in.  Louise walked a couple of properties filming the house and grounds so we could see what was available.  We secured one of those homes that she filmed.

She helped us set up our bank accounts on one of our trips to Spain, where we met over coffee.  When we arrived for the final time, she arranged  transportation for us to our new home and met us with groceries, and the key.  She set us up with her contacts who provided health insurance and car insurance.  She even set up a lunch with another couple, whom she also helped, so we could meet some people.

It is imperative to say that Louise really cared about us.  She listened to our wants and needs, and directed us down the right path.  We are fortunate to have met her, and we  are honoured to call her our friend.”

“We just moved from Australia to the Costa del Sol with our young family and cannot rate our experience with Move to Malaga more highly! Our relocation consultant Louise provided us with all the necessary information prior to our move – not just website links and maps and step-by-step guides but also that kind of information that only a local could provide. Since we were moving with children we relied on a lot of help finding the right school, and Louise made sure we had appointments set up with all the right places to pick the very best option for our children. She also tipped us off on a beautiful house that just entered the market so that we could snatch it up the minute it was free to rent. Louise’s friendly and patient personality and her good sense of humour helped us very much during a time that could have been much more stressful and painful than it turned out to be. We warmly recommend the services of Move to Malaga to anyone looking to relocate to one of the most beautiful places in Spain.”

“Having decided that the Costa del Sol would be an ideal location to have a bolt hole in the sun we searched the web for hints on how to find and buy a property.  We found the Move to Malaga website and that is how we met Louise. From the outset we struck up a rapport and felt we were in safe hands. At all times we knew that Louise was focussed on ensuring that we found a property that met our criteria. She drove us up and down the Costa until we settled on a location, pointing out the pros and cons of each area. Once we decided on location Louise searched availability and presented us with a list of potential properties to view. We found an apartment and Louise introduced us to a solicitor who dealt with the purchase, set up bank accounts, etc.  The apartment required renovation so Louise introduced us to three builders so that we could carry out a selection process, she attended the meetings and interpreted their quotes, enabling us to choose the one we wanted. We can honestly say that we would not have been able to do this without the invaluable support that Louise gave us.  Nothing was too much trouble for her and she helped us overcome the fears we had about attempting to buy a property in a country where we cannot speak the language.  We can not recommend Move to Malaga and Louise highly enough for the service they provided.”
