During 2016 my wife and I decided to go to Costa Del Sol to look for a holiday home. After reading about the different areas and having looked online for lots of different types of holiday homes, I came across Lisa’s web page. Me and my wife both felt compelled to talk with Lisa, as she on her page highlighted her focus on not finding the perfect villa but most importantly the right area for us as a family.
We, therefore, contacted Lisa and had a good talk via Skype, so that she could have a good impression of us as a family. She seemed very kind, focused on our wishes and not least very trustworthy.
After meeting Lisa for the first time in Mijas, during the fall 2016, she very much confirmed our good impression of her based on the talk via Skype. One of the things we appreciated much about her guidance was her good knowledge about the local areas. Living in Denmark makes it hard to get an in-depth knowledge of the story, local culture, shops, restaurants, schools, attractions etc in the near area.

“It took a year and a half of planning, but recently my wife Dianne and I, and two dogs, moved to the Costa del Sol from Canada. We were fortunate enough to meet Louise early on in the planning phase, and her guidance has been invaluable. We could not have done it without her.

We will be forever grateful to Louise and Bárbara for their help and kindness; we really can’t thank them enough! We’re British citizens who moved to Spain from France in March, 2019. Our deadline was Brexit, which was set for 29 March at the time we began the moving process (during the first week of March). The entire move was about as last-minute as you can get: our other plans had just fallen through but we knew we needed to leave France due to the proposed post-Brexit situation there. I contacted Louise out of desperation and she sprang into action for us.
We couldn’t have asked for better. She handled every difficulty and mini-crisis with professionalism and care. Due to our ridiculously short timescale, there were, of course, urgent problems that arose, but Louise was always there to help. We arrived in Spain less than two weeks after we began the process and moved into our house three days later.
Louise was then on hand to help us with all of the extremely urgent paperwork we needed for our residency appointment the following week. Residency day itself was a bit fraught but again Louise did everything she could to sort things out. Bárbara took us in for the actual appointment and we never dreamed that it would all go so smoothly! Like Louise, Bárbara exudes kindness and professionalism and she did everything she could to help us and put our minds at rest.
Without their help, we would never have been able to achieve this move. It was vital for our health and futures so we’re incredibly glad that we found people with such efficiency and expertise to guide us through it all, even in such unusual and rushed circumstances.

Hola Lisa. This email is to thank you and especially Barbara for all your joint help in Bridget & I obtaining our Residencia: card on the 21st March 2019. Barbara was by our side during the first meeting at the National Police station in Torre del Mar and then Barbara had to re-visit them on the Thursday with a translated and Spanish certified document. She then persuaded the Official to accept the necessary 4 documents & was very persistent in pursuing a good outcome for both of us. My husband and I are American citizens planning to move to southern Spain in June, 2019.
We tried finding a place ourselves, but weeding through the numerous online listings and sending inquiries that were going unanswered was exhausting. We couldn’t tell which properties were actually available, how they really looked (how old are those pictures?), and what kind of area they were really located? Those listings could easily hide the details that mattered most to us. To find a home in Spain from Atlanta we needed someone to be our eyes and ears in Spain.
Lisa with Move to Malaga was the answer to our problems! She was our eyes, our ears, and more.
